MCIS Technology Services is a dave monroe company. We diagnose first, fix what matters, and keep costs sane. In fact our pricing is so reasonable it could be called 'insane'. And all monies collected from MCIS that do not help run MCIS go directly to KZNOW INC. A local non-profit that helps fund local outreach missions to help the homeless and others in Germantown, MD.

Do you work on inkjets?
No. Only laser printers. Saves everyone time and money.

Will you try to sell me hardware?
Only if testing proves you need it, and only with the cheapest part that actually fixes the problem.

Can you make my Wi-Fi faster and safer?
Yes. We test, tune, and when it is worth it we upgrade to Wi-Fi 6 or 7 with proper placement and security.

Are you expensive?
No. The goal of MCIS is to spend less and work better. That is how MCIS funds KZNOW without squeezing clients.

How does MCIS work?

Start with the contact form below. Tell us the problem or your mission, for example:

My network keeps dropping.
I just bought a computer and need help setting it up.
I think someone is on my Wi-Fi and I want it stopped.

We review your message and decide from the form alone whether it s a job we do.

If we can do it: you pay the $75 Site Survey and we schedule a visit to your home or small business. On site, we confirm the issues, map a simple plan, and go over pricing.
If we can t do it: there is no fee, we don t come out, and that s the end of it.

Privacy: We do not keep or sell your information, we do not share it with other companies, and we do not put you on any email list. No pressure. No upsells.

About dave monroe

dave monroe is a Navy veteran and longtime fixer who turned his restaurant back-office tinkering into a career helping small businesses and families with real tech problems. He worked with IBM and Continental Resources clients across MD/DC/VA, then spent over three decades building and hosting websites, hardening networks, and training teams. He founded KZNOW to turn paid work into local relief.
